Here’s what I’ve done over the course of my career and what I’m interested in. In a day of buzzwords and exaggeration, I’ve tried to keep my language simple.
I’m always seeking roles on the boundaries of science, computing, and education. With more than two decades’ experience in Open-Source/community software (e.g. Linux, Apache, Python, etc.), and a degree in physics, I want to share my joy for science, math, and computing with the world.
Today we can combine modern advances in measurement (cell phones, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, MEMS sensors, image processing, etc.) with scientific laboratory equipment, making it easier than ever to show students and the general public how nature really works.
